All Choked Up
Growing up I used to look at fashionable women and think how cool they are, and how I wish I could wear something like that, but always was too afraid to step outside my comfort zone, in fear of being judged or looking stupid. I would always wait for the cool girls to start doing something before I would dare to try it.
I.E. the shorter haircut in 6th grade, the pointy toe heels in 7th, a leather jacket in high school, aviator sunglasses.... the point is, looking back, I'm sad I squandered so many years of potential badassness in fear of looking stupid.
Sure, some trends are very regrettable, but don't be afraid to be yourself and not copy the trendsetters. They're just making it up as they go along too. It's all in the confidence of how your wear it.
So today I decided to use a bandana as a choker, because why not? It definitely added a little something extra.
